Our classic range consists of a range of retro models as based on historic models made by ourselves of other manufacturers in the period up to the 1970's. The A-11 was among the first military watches to be equipped with a sweep second hand. This recreation is based closely on the original World War Two design from 1943. Our GG-W-113 is based an a specification set out in October 1962 when the US Government set down a specification for infantry watches which became known as GG-W-113 this was MIL-W-3818B which replaced MIL-W-3818A from March 1956. The W10 was issued to the military between 1968 and 1979 when it was replaced by the quartz G10 although a number of MWC W10's were purchased for a military contract in 1990 as referred to in the book "The Concise Guide to Military Timepieces". These watches are still made by us though we now use 24 jewel high performance automatic movements.
We also produce models such as the MKIII which is an updated version of the early W10's with modern standards of water resistance and our Classic Aviator range are all based on German designs from the 1940s.
One of our most popular ranges are the Vietnam watches which are more durable upgraded metal cased versions of the plastic disposable watches issued to US troops in Vietnam.
